Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks Wave 1 Collection ~ Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, Kung Lao

Hello World!

I have not been posting anything in such a long time, had to concentrate on college work and hardcore videogame grinding, and this paper folding hobby that I picked up a few months ago.

Anyways here we are with another figure review by yours truly. The Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks Wave 1 figure collection (or series? U dunno what its really called), was something I got in my mid grade school days. At the time I was only after Scorpion, but I could not buy him alone, I had to buy the set. I’ll have to admit, even if I wasn’t really after the three others, I must say its really worth it because these figures are no longer being produced, and I’ve seen the price difference now and compared to back then.

1/144 HG GAT-X102 Duel Gundam Assaultshroud

After ages of not posting anything, it’s about time that I contribute my share into this figure section! And here’s the Duel Gundam in its Assaultshroud!

Out of the SEED HG kits that I got, this one converts from its Assaultshroud mode back to being the good ol’ Duel Gundam with no armor.

NECA SDCC Exclusive Isaac Clarke w/Unitology RIG

-Interestingly, despite it saying that he has a Level 5 Unitology RIG, it’s actually just a repaint of the Level 3 RIG armor. I’m a little disappointed in that, but it’s no big issue once I decided to customize Isaac. More on that in a future blog post.
-He only comes with a Plasma Cutter for an accessory, just about that, and nothing else.
-The RIG on his back has two button cell batteries, both are removable by detaching the RIG, then uncrewing the part on his back.
-Good poseability, but not as great as a figma or a Gundam.
-No he does not come with the skeleton, it just so happened I didn’t have a Necromorph figure to pose with him.
-Despite being a San Diego Comic Convention exclusive, this guy is not so exclusive when I easily found him in a toy store. No the toy store is not a collector store, it’s just an average one, like Toy Kingdom or Toys R’ Us. It’s surprising because whenever I look for a scale figure or a figma that’s labelled ‘Japan Exclusive’ I have a hard time finding it.
