Do I have to remind you that spoilers will be inevitable because this series is ending??
Oh, wait. I just did. hahaha
(Quick post alert… Don’t expect much comprehensiveness or much pics. I’m in a rush. XD)
Elysium: or the Elysian Fields (Ancient Greek: Ἠλύσιον πεδίον, Ēlýsion pedíon) is a conception of the afterlife that developed over time and was maintained by certain Greek religious and philosophical sects and cults. Initially separate from the realm of Hades, admission was reserved for mortals related to the gods and other heroes. Later, it expanded to include those chosen by the gods, the righteous, and the heroic, where they would remain after death, to live a blessed and happy life, and indulging in whatever employment they had enjoyed in life. Greek… In Kami Nomi… Jupiter Sisters are Roman… Very ambiguous indeed. XD
At first, I thought that Elsie’s name had no connection with anything. Then I searched for this due to circumstances, and lookie here. Something about hell!
CHAPTER 266: Romantic ☆ 2Night
RECAP: After an epic(?) battle with the Mobile Colossi and some devils from Vintage, the Jupiter Sisters settle Keima somewhere so he can wake up because he hasn’t yet…
Apparently, she’s not the clumsy, aloof little devil anyone expected her to be…
I’m not disappointed, though. Her character background has been greatly this chapter. What I don’t understand is… Why now? Why does this plot twist come so unnecessarily?? TT_TT
We see Keima with Elsie eating(?) dinner made by the cute
devil entity. She explains how it’s hard to stop time. Wait. Elsie can stop time now? So, she was the one responsible for the time stop that happened after the Colossi wrecked the timeline machine??
So, Keima figured out something was wrong the minute Elsie revealed that despite her lack of intelligence, she got in the Runaway Spirit Squad… I thought it was a lowering of set standards. I’m sure it is, but… Eh… ;A;
In all mass hysteria (for the readers, at least, because Elsie tells off serious biz in such a light manner), Elsie reveals herself as a being who is tired of “always being summoned by bad people”, so the Chief reincarnated her into a different being so they wouldn’t find her.
She’s Satyr’s secret weapon!!!! The huge female figure bigger than the mountains!!!!! WTF!?!?!?!? Another HUGE plot twist, but this time, no one expected it!!! Genius! Genius! Gotta bravo to Wakaki-sensei! At least, it’s a good thing that Elsie’s character background is somewhat explained this chapter, further disproving my previous posts… XD XD XD
Elsie asked if her Nii-sama was happy with her. The answer??
Ooooh. Smooth. That sounds nice! It looks good to see that even though Keima was brought in this crazy world due to her, he appreciated it to some of its extent. Wow. Character development indeed… *nods head fervently* Mmhmm…
And the last part… Keima’s collar is removed and he woke up! Hooray!!!
As for Elsie’s final request, I’m pretty sure that that was the hug she gave him with all of her imouto love. XD XD
Next chapter… Now IDK what to expect. He woke up, so…?
I’m looking forward to next chapter as always!!!
Score for this one, 10/10. Plot twists are always great. XD XD XD
